Our team organized a special initiative to support healthcare facilities in the Delhi NCR region. We understand the importance of accessibility and quality healthcare, so we decided to provide much-needed mobility aids and essential equipment to a prominent hospital in our area.

In a recent study, it was observed that in India out of the 121 Cr population, 2.68 Cr persons are ‘disabled’ which is 2.21% of our total population. Mobility is the foundation for living a healthy and independent life and unfortunately, not everyone has easy access to the aids they require. We understand the importance of accessibility and quality healthcare. 

So, our team decided to provide much-needed mobility aids such as wheelchairs, blankets, and essential equipment to a prominent hospital in our area bringing comfort and independence to those facing mobility challenges. 

How did we start planning?

Our team had been actively engaging with the community and came face-to-face with individuals who were facing difficulties in fulfilling their basic needs due to financial constraints. So, we decide to take action and make a difference in our community.

For this, our team discussed the details such as the number of people in need and the types of items that they required along with logistics, such as transportation, storage, and distribution.

On the day, our team gathered at the hospital with a truckload of supplies and set out to distribute them to patients with temporary disabilities. We stayed at the hospital throughout the day, helping those who were in need and providing support. We were able to provide basic medical supplies to those in need, as well as emotional support. It was a rewarding experience for all of us.
